Our objective is to educate people on responsible ownership and build a community of like minded individuals who wish to help the breed in any way they can be it adopting,posting available dogs for adoption,helping with transports or just networking. We also strongly encourage owners to be active in their community to show them that we responsible owners want to be part of the solution not part of the problem. Get other owners in your area together to organize events,distribute information and just be seen out being a responsible owner. We as owners owe it to our dogs to be educated,responsible owners and to show people that they are not the monsters they are too often portrayed as in the media. Im sure every one of us has had the conversation with people who will pet our dogs and ask what kind they are and when we proudly reply pit bull they shy away and respond with eww Im afraid of those. Also encouraging people to spay and neuter leave the breeding up to the professionals once again Im sure weve all heard the bloodline excuse. Well there are hundreds if not thousands losing their lives daily due to this so people who say they truely love the breed need to stop and take a look at the current situation we are facing. 1 in 600 make it out? Those numbers are unacceptable and tragic. We also like people to keep an open mind in regards to other peoples opinions and beliefs we may not all agree on every topic be it breeders versus rescuers or any number of topics,but ultimately if you are not putting your dog in harms way and you truly care about this breed then we should unite as a community and work together.
